Sanatana Dharma & Vedic Sciences — The Cosmic Knowledge System
HARI OM THATH SATH IDAM JAGATH — calling the Truth through which Matter evolves in the entire Universe.
Sanatana Dharma and Vedic Sciences are age-old traditional cultures observed in Jambudweepa — which consists of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Tibet, Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. Developed by super-human beings such as Rishis, Munis, Acharyas, and Sages who designed these sciences by observing the patterns of the Universe and Nature.
This is an elaborate illustration of energy, mathematics, algorithms, sciences, symbols, geometry, and frequencies, which, when combined, become the Ultimate Truth. The Vedic sciences have been deciphered orally for the last 75,000 years and more.
The Four Vedas
The Vedas are sound values that possess multidimensional wisdom in each Beejakshara. Divided into four by Veda Vyaasa (Vyaasa Maharshi), author of the Mahabharata:
- Rig Veda — hymns and cosmic knowledge; the oldest of the four, dated prior to 3100 BCE
- Yajur Veda — ritual formulas and procedures for Vedic ceremonies
- Sama Veda — musical chants and melodies; the basis of Indian classical music
- Atharvana Veda — healing, protection, and daily life sciences
Rigveda Chronology & Sound Science
The Rigveda predates 3100 BCE — making it the oldest documented knowledge system of humanity. The Vedas carry only sound value, not conventional meaning in the ordinary sense. The vibration of Vedic chanting nurtures the human body, clears air passages, and attracts positive energy. Vedic chanting is linked with logic and mathematics — a very advanced scientific system.
"By chanting the Vedas or hearing it, there is an effect on the human body — air passages clear, light and magnetic vibrations give good results on the human system." — Vedic School Teacher
Six Darshanas — Schools of Philosophy
- Sankhya — dualistic philosophy of consciousness (Puruṣa) and matter (Prakṛti)
- Yoga — integrates Sankhya with practical techniques for controlling the mind and spiritual liberation
- Nyaya & Vaisheshika — Logic and Atomism; understanding reality through valid knowledge and atomic theory
- Mimamsa — interpreting Vedic rituals; karma and dharma in the eternal universe
- Vedanta — Upanishads, Brahma Sutra, Bhagavad Gita; key interpretations: Dvaita, Advaita, Visishtadvaita
Vedic Cognitive Science
The Sankhya and Yoga systems describe the mind as five distinct faculties:
- Manas — lower sensory mind (receives and processes sense input)
- Ahankara — sense of I-ness; individual identity and ego
- Buddhi — intellect and discriminating wisdom
- Chitta — memory bank; the field of accumulated impressions (samskaras)
- Atman — the innermost self beyond finite enumeration; pure consciousness
95% of Indian Life Science is grounded in scientific elements observable through biology, geology, astronomy, and modern space research.
Pancha Purusharthas — Four Goals of Life
- Dharma — righteous conduct and duty aligned with Universal Law
- Artha — material prosperity and security through right livelihood
- Kama — pleasure, love, and desire experienced with Dharmic awareness
- Moksha — liberation through self-realisation and reunion with Brahman
Six Vedangas — Auxiliary Sciences
- Shiksha — Phonetics: Sanskrit alphabet, accent, melody, euphonic combination
- Chanda — Poetic meters and vibrational rhythm of Vedic verse
- Vyakarana — Grammar and linguistic analysis for precise expression
- Nirukta — Etymology; explanation of ancient words and meanings
- Kalpa — Ritual science; rites of passage from birth to death
- Jyotishya — Vedic timekeeping through Nakshatra and astronomical observations
Five Elements — Pancha Bhuthas
Everything in the universe — including the human body — is composed of five fundamental elements. These elements operate through specific frequencies and energies that are mathematically inter-linked:
| Element | Sanskrit | Quality | Body Correspondence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire | Agni | Transformation, light, heat | Body temperature, digestion, vision |
| Air | Vaayu | Movement, breath, communication | Breath, nervous system, touch |
| Water | Jal | Flow, cohesion, nourishment | Blood, lymph, fluids |
| Earth | Prithvi | Solidity, stability, form | Bones, muscles, physical structure |
| Ether / Space | Akaash | Expansion, sound, consciousness | Body cavities, hearing, thought |
